When first bottling their Bitter No. 02 - made by macerating figs, apricots, and cherries in a grape-brandy base then sweetened with local wildflower honey and bittered with galangal root - Home Base put some in reserve in a Home Base Bourbon barrel for over a year. The result is a sophisticated, luxurious, and unexpected after-dinner drink, or for savoring the moment any time of day.
