Method and Madness is a a 9 year old Single Grain whiskey finished in Virgin Spanish Oak, from Midleton's experimental Method and Madness range, which aims to give light to the creativity of its apprentices and whiskey masters.ÿSprung from the minds of MIdleton's Masters and Apprentices, Method and Madness is whiskey that pays heed to tradition, while searching for unordinary, providing a taste of what is possible when knowledge and discovery collide.

Ireland- Single Grain Irish Whiskey Matured in American Bourbon Barrels and Finished in Virgin Spanish Oak Casks. Nose of rose petal and pine. Warm toasted oak, zesty spice and grapefruit taste. Sweet cereal, spice and mint finish.

Method and Madness is the experimental microdistillery located at Midleton Distillery where Irish whiskey brands like Jameson and Redbreast among many others are produced. This whiskey ages initially in first-fill bourbon barrels and finishes its maturation in virgin Spanish oak.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: New pencil shavings

Taste: Warm toasted oak, Fresh peeled Grapefruit, Zesty Wood Spices.

Finish: Sweet cereal, Clove spiciness, Fresh mint.
