Their story
Eli Mason is a Nashville company making small-batch cocktail mixers and syrups for spirit-forward drinks. Its first big product was a premium Old Fashioned mixer, built for people who want a proper cocktail at home without a long list of ingredients.
The brand has grown with backing from Southern makers. Chris Thomas, founder of the Made South maker collective, became its largest shareholder, and in 2018 Kentucky Owl Bourbon founder Dixon Dedman bought a significant stake.
How it's made
Each mixer is made by hand in small batches in Nashville using pure cane sugar and natural ingredients such as fresh mint and organic gum arabic. The range covers cocktail-specific mixers like Old Fashioned and Mint Julep as well as bar basics like grenadine, demerara and gomme syrup.
