Their story
Flouwer Co. started with two Denver neighbors, Kristen Kapoor and Theresa Halliburton, who shared a love of entertaining and a habit of cooking with edible flowers. The first blooms came from their own gardens.
In 2022 they opened a shop in Denver that doubles as a gathering place for people curious about edible botanicals. Their floral salts and cocktail cubes are now sold in boutiques around the country, and they hope to find more land to grow their own flowers.
How it's made
Each product starts from a single flower, grown in the founders' gardens or sourced from other growers. Because some flowers lose shape or color when dried, the lineup shifts with what is in bloom. The range includes finishing salts, finishing sugars, cocktail cubes and floral crackers.
