Their story
The Fine Cheese Co. was started by Ann-Marie Dyas in Bath, the old Roman city in England's West Country. Dyas, who has judged at the British and World Cheese Awards, built the business around championing British cheesemakers.
Over about three decades the company has grown from a cheese specialist into an independent retailer and maker of crackers and accompaniments. Its products now reach more than 600 delis and farm shops across the UK and are sold in over 30 countries.
How it's made
The crackers are made by sister company Artisan Biscuits at a family-owned bakery more than 100 years old in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. Bakers use British flour and butter, real cheese and fruit, with no additives or preservatives, and the dough is mixed and handled by hand before shaping on bronze-rollered machines and baking in rack ovens. On the cheese side, buyers visit makers and affineurs across Britain and Europe and finish wheels in the company's own maturing rooms.

Why we carry them
These are the crackers we reach for when building a cheese board, crisp and plain enough to let the cheese lead. They pair well with almost anything in our cheese case.
