Their story
Alice Mushrooms was founded in 2022 by Lindsay Goodstein, its CEO, and Charlotte Cruze. The brand put functional mushrooms and botanicals into chocolate, choosing it over gummies as the format they wanted to stand behind.
Its small tins, including Nightcap, Brainstorm and Happy Ending, are now sold at natural grocers across the country, and the company has added Party Trick, a chocolate meant as an alternative for nights without drinking.
How it's made
Each piece is chocolate blended with mushroom extracts and other botanicals chosen for a specific moment of the day. Party Trick, for example, combines cordyceps with kanna, mucuna, gotu kola, guayusa and a little caffeine.
