Their story
Anthill Farms is the work of Webster Marquez, Anthony Filiberti and David Low, who met while working at Williams Selyem in Sonoma County. They found they shared the same idea about wine: let Pinot Noir show where it was grown.
They made their first 200 cases in 2004 and have grown slowly since, buying fruit from a range of small North Coast vineyards. Many of those plots they farm themselves.
How it's made
The partners farm closely with minimal ecological impact and handle the grapes gently from crush to bottle. They use oak with restraint and leave the wine alone as much as they can.
Our featured pick
Helluva Vineyard White Wine (750ML)
$35.00
A wild white wine blend of 65% Pinot Gris, 25% Pinot Noir, 10% Gewurztraminer all cofemented. Taste: For all the aromatic complexity, this is a wine of fresh elegance, purity, and focus.

Why we carry them
We like Anthill for Pinot that is light on its feet and full of place. A good bottle for anyone who finds California Pinot too heavy.
