Their story
COOP's MicroCreamery is the work of Marc "Coop" Cooper, a former electrical engineer and hospital administrator who fell for ice cream after his first scoop at Steve Herrell's shop in Boston. He went on to learn the craft from Herrell himself.
Over about 25 years he made frozen desserts under the Herrell's name, picking up many Best of Boston awards and supplying ice cream for the 1999 MLB All-Star Game in Boston. He launched COOP's in 2009.

COOP's makes natural ice creams, frozen yogurts and dairy-free ice creams in a dense, low-air style, alongside the hot fudge and caramel sauces it is now widely known for.
