Their story

DER is a nonalcoholic drink created by actor and artist Nico Tortorella with St. Louis-based MNG Brands and its kratom wellness brand, Korthals' Collection. MNG co-founder Dafna Revah helped develop the recipe. The name stands for "Drink. Enjoy. Repeat."

DER debuted nationally in October 2025 and came home to St. Louis later that fall. Tortorella has described it as a way to keep the social ritual of a beer while staying sober.

How it's made

DER is brewed using the nonalcoholic brewing know-how MNG gained when it acquired WellBeing Brewing in 2024. Each can carries a whole-leaf kratom extract rather than synthetic isolates. Expect hop bitterness and grapefruit up front with a gentler herbal bitterness beneath.

Why we carry them

DER is one of the more unusual drinks on our nonalcoholic shelf, hoppy and citrusy with a botanical edge. It contains kratom, so we suggest reading the label before you try it.
