Their story
Frey Ranch is the work of Colby and Ashley Frey, who started the distillery in 2006 on the family farm in Fallon, in the high desert of Northern Nevada. The Frey family has farmed in the region for more than 150 years.
They filled their first barrel in 2014 and have grown steadily since, adding aging warehouses and reaching markets well beyond Nevada. The family motto, printed on the bottom of each bottle, is about caring for the land so it will care for you.
How it's made
Frey Ranch grows every grain it distills on more than 2,000 acres of its own farmland: corn, wheat, rye and barley. Harvest runs from August through October, and the whiskey is distilled and aged on the ranch.
We're incredibly proud of the progress we've made since we laid down our first whiskey barrel 10 years ago.
Why we carry them
Frey Ranch is a true farm whiskey, and you can taste the grain. The bourbon is a great pour for anyone curious about where whiskey flavor really starts.
