Their story
Gentleman's Cut is the Kentucky straight bourbon that Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry helped create. It launched worldwide in May 2023.
The whiskey is made with Boone County Distilling Co., a craft distillery near Florence in northern Kentucky.
How it's made
The mash bill is 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley. It is distilled by hand in a 500-gallon copper pot still, with no column still, then aged 5 to 7 years in new charred white oak barrels and bottled at 90 proof.
I'm proud to have helped carefully craft a new signature Kentucky Straight Bourbon, Gentleman's Cut.
Why we carry them
For a Bay Area shop, a bourbon from a Warriors legend is hard to pass up. The copper pot still and generous rye make it worth a pour on its own merits.
