Their story
The Block Distilling Co. is owned by Kraig Weaver, Kameron Weaver, and Michelle Flake. Kraig, a former engineer, is the distiller.
The distillery lives in The Block Building in Denver's RiNo Art District, a space that once housed a street art collective and gallery. It is best known for a series of gins that change with the seasons, with separate spring, summer, autumn, and winter bottlings.
How it's made
The team buys locally grown, non-GMO grain and mills it in-house. Distilling happens on a copper hybrid still named Ellie, set in a glass-walled room visitors can watch. Each seasonal gin gets its own botanical recipe.

The Block’s Amaro is a labor of love developed and perfected over many years. This bold, herbaceous digestif is crafted using a complex blend of botanicals, including sarsaparilla, birch, anise, and.

Why we carry them
We like that you can follow the year through The Block's gins. The summer bottling is a bright, floral pick for a gin and tonic.
