Cantina Horus - 'Sole E Terra' Frappato (750ML)

Its ancient name “frappatu” seems to refer to the word “fruity”, which perfectly characterises mellow bouquet of this wine.

Our single-variety Frappato wine is made of wine grapes growing in sandy soil, which is typical of Ragusa area. This wine is fragrant and features the scents of spices, red berries and black pepper. It’s slightly acid and spicy on the palate and has blueberries, wild strawberries and wild blackberries flavours.

Gorgeous medium bodied red that is also good with a slight chill, full of blackcurrant, florals and just a touch of herbs. So pretty but with enough structure to hold it all togther, this is the perfect balance of fruit and tannin. A real stunner.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Fragrant aromas of red berries, black pepper, and spices, with a hint of florals.

Palate: Slightly acidic and spicy with flavors of blueberries, wild strawberries, and blackberries, balanced by subtle herbs.
