A blend of bourbons finished in Oloroso sherry, Pedro Ximénez and Cognac casks. ‘Best In Class’ and ‘Best In Category’ at the ADI.
A sourced whiskey (8 to 9-year old bourbon from MGP in Indiana). This aims to recreate the flavour of a bygone brand, recently reestablished in 2015 in Washington DC. Comes packaged in a handsome art deco style bottle containing 'triple cask finished' whiskeys, including x-sherry and cognac.
Tasting Notes:
Nose - Rich caramel with individuality from dried fruit drenched in mint syrup.
Palate - Glossy smooth texture up front, rich spices embellished by the heat of the alcohol.
Finish - Capped with dry wood smoke, providing a stalwart conclusion.
