Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao is a sophisticated, historically inspired orange liqueur that revives a 19th-century recipe. Crafted in France, this exceptional blend is made from bitter Curaçao orange peels, cognac, and un-aged brandy, combined with 14 botanicals and then barrel-aged. The result is a less sweet, more complex orange liqueur that beautifully balances bright citrus flavors with subtle oak and spice, making it ideal for classic cocktails like the Original 1944 Mai Tai or enjoyed on its own.
Based on a 19th C recipe, this is a traditional French triple sec. Three separate distillations of spices and the sec or bitter, peels of Curacao oranges blended with brandy and Ferrand Cognac.
