‘Ao’ meaning ‘blue’ is a homage to the oceansthat connect whisky’s five great traditions.

Ao offers a blend of Irish, Scottish, Canadian, American, and Japanese. While layered together for balance, the unique qualities of each tradition come through, truly making Ao a blend like no other.

The one-of-a-kind whisky is a tribute to the liquids’ long history, perfectly capturing the heathery flavor of Ardmore and Glen Garioch in Scotland, the complexity of Cooley in Ireland, the smoothness of Alberta in Canada, the vibrance of Jim Beam in the U.S. and the subtlety of Yamazaki and Hakushu in Japan.

With notes of vanilla, tropical fruit, and cinnamon, it is the distinctive climate, fermentation, and distillation processes in each whisky-making region that gives the whisky its unique taste.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Amber colour with profound aromas of vanilla and pineapple-like fruitiness, complemented by a creamy sweetness and lingering woody notes.
