Each September, the village of Diamante in Calabria celebrates its crop at the Hot Pepper Festival. The entire village hangs red braids of chile peppers on their balconies to dry.
Calabrian Hot Peppers come in an aromatic dried and braided form commonly known as "Peperoncino a Treccia".
This braid weaves fifty Calabrian peppers to create a beautiful accessory for your kitchen. Snip and crush whenever you need a little spice in your dish!
