Leopold Bros. - 'Three Chamber' Bottled-In-Bond Rye (750ML)

There are few people in American distilling as creative and thoughtful as Todd Leopold. This Three-Chamber Rye whiskey is one of the most innovative bottles we've ever found. With a nod to 19th century production and flavor Todd's managed to create an entirely new narrative on tradition. Each bottle of this rare collector's edition is hand signed by the distiller.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Delicious notes of dill, sweet rye, mixed berry gummies, peach rings, and fresh peach nectar, creating a sugary, viscous aroma.  

Palate: Peach nectar accompanied by solid proof heat, peppery oak, and sweet herbs; the mouthfeel is oily and coating, with dark chocolate and pink peppercorns, finishing with slightly drying oak.  

Finish: Medium length, highlighting rye grain and dark chocolate, with peaches lingering until the end as the oak fades.

Additional Information 

Poured neat in my Glencairn glass, this Rye presented as the color of rich topaz. It formed a thicker rim that generated fat, slow legs that crawled back to the pool of liquid sunshine.
