Orphan Barrel Whiskey Distilling Company is a dedicated cause, acquiring some of the rarest casks from some of the finest whiskey cellars, and releasing them into the world a cascade of limited edition, barrel-aged ambrosia.
Rhetoric 23 year old was made at the old Bernheim Distillery and matured partially at the Stitzel-Weller Distillery. This incredible whiskey is distilled from 86% corn, 8% barley, and 6% rye this whiskey is bottled at 45.3%.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Aromatic and complex, with notes of toasted oak, dark chocolate, dried fruits, and a hint of leather
Palate: Full-bodied and rich, showcasing flavors of caramel, vanilla, baking spices, and a touch of dark cherry
Finish: Long and indulgent, with a lingering sweetness, oak tannins, and a hint of smokiness
