Their story
Aerstone is a single malt brand from William Grant & Sons, the family company behind Glenfiddich and The Balvenie. It is distilled at the company's site in Girvan, on the Ayrshire coast of southwest Scotland, home also to the Ailsa Bay distillery.
The brand launched in 2018 with a simple idea: make single malt easier to choose. Instead of tasting notes full of jargon, each bottle tells you plainly what to expect.
How it's made
Both whiskies are aged 10 years. Sea Cask is a smooth, Speyside-style malt aged in warehouses near the coast, which gives it a light salty note. Land Cask is made with highland peat and aged further inland for a richer, smoky profile.
