Their story
Amy Atwood spent about 15 years selling wine for importers and wholesalers before starting her own company in Los Angeles in 2009. Amy Atwood Selections imports and distributes small producers who farm organically, whether or not they are certified.
Her portfolio includes growers from Australia, Europe and California, along with vermouth and cider. In 2012 she launched her own wine label, Oeno, with fruit from Sonoma County.
She works with a small team and a simple rule: carry wines from people she respects and wines she likes to drink herself.
How it's made
The producers she works with farm without chemicals in the vineyard and usually make fewer than 5,000 cases. Her own Oeno wines use Sonoma fruit, fermented with native yeasts and aged in neutral oak in Healdsburg.
Our featured pick

Flora is a joint project between distiller Morgan McLachlan and Amy Atwood. The base is rosé of pinot noir from Sonoma County California.

Why we carry them
We trust an Amy Atwood bottle to be honest, organically farmed wine from a small grower. It is a good place to start if you are curious about natural wine.
