Brightland was founded in Los Angeles in 2018 by Aishwarya Iyer, who started the company with $30,000 of her own savings rather than venture capital.
The brand began with two olive oils and has grown to about ten, along with vinegars and honey. Iyer works closely with California's olive growers to bring fresh, modern oils to the kitchen.
