Their story
Patrick and Adrien Girault make the wines at Domaine Girault, a small family-run estate in Bué, within the Sancerre appellation.
The domaine is built around Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, grown on the limestone, clay-limestone and flint soils that give Sancerre its character.
How it's made
Grapes are picked by hand, and the Sauvignon Blanc parcels are worked and vinified separately. The estate farms sustainably and keeps a restrained hand in the cellar.
Why we carry them
We like this small-family Sancerre for its clean, direct style and sense of place.
