Their story
ENZO comes from the Ricchiuti family, who have farmed California's San Joaquin Valley for four generations. Their story begins with Vincenzo Ricchiuti, who emigrated from Italy, and the family farming business dates back to 1914. For decades it grew almonds and fresh fruit under the name P-R Farms.
In 2008 the family decided to branch out. Patrick Ricchiuti saw promise in olive oil and pushed to plant their first olive groves, and his son Vincent co-founded the olive oil company. The first harvest and crush came in 2011.
Today ENZO oils have earned top awards at international competitions, including gold medals at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition.
How it's made
The olives are grown organically on the family's land near Fresno. The mill sits right in the groves, so fruit is pressed into extra virgin olive oil shortly after picking. The farm runs on solar power, uses efficient irrigation and finds new uses for its byproducts, and the oils carry the California Olive Oil Council seal.

Crafted in the Old World style where time-honored traditions and techniques yield an exceptionally unique delicacy.
Why we carry them
We like knowing that ENZO's olives travel only a few yards from tree to mill. It's a fresh, honest California oil from a family that has been farming the same valley for over a century.
