Their story
FishSnax comes from chef José Andrés, the Spanish-born cook and restaurateur who has long championed the tinned seafood of his home country. He calls tinned seafood his secret weapon, and FishSnax is his way of putting it in more pantries.
The line is sold through José Andrés Foods and was developed with Gourmet Foods International. Its bright, playful packaging was designed to stand apart from the usual look of tinned fish.
How it's made
The range includes wild octopus smoked over wood, mussels in escabeche with bay leaf and paprika, sardines in olive oil with lemon, anchovies and tuna belly with roasted piquillo peppers. Most are packed in olive oil or a light pickling sauce.
